The sweetest little four hour photography package was perfect for Andrea and Nathan’s wedding held at the Windsor Road Baptist Church with a strong focus on capturing what was most important for them; family and celebrating their relationship in a traditional ceremony. Some of my favourite moments were; the moment Andrea shared with her father just before walking down the aisle; Andrea’s trademark smile just after their first kiss; and with the help of the stunning bridal party creating a moment that sparkled into the night. I always feel cosy after looking through their images. xx
Nathan and Sally’s Gold Coast wedding was the perfect collaboration and celebration of their beautiful personalities. I loved how Sally handwrote messages to her bridal party on the bottom of their shoes; Sally honoured her father who has passed by including a photograph of him on her bouquet; also at the reception Sally created a ‘love’ corner with pictures and favourite items of those who couldn’t be there on the day. It is those sorts of details that make the day so personal and special to be involved in. I must also say I quite like the idea of the cheese wheel cake and wonder if having one to celebrate the upcoming weekend is too much? xx

When I first met Andrea and Nathan to discuss their wedding, I spent the evening giggling and swooning as they are both shared stories of their love. When it came to getting together for their engagement shoot, I knew I wanted to include lots of colour to compliment their beautiful personalities. Deciding upon a few locations, I suggested we go on a bit of a road trip, we all piled into my car and we zipped from location to location, a great way to get to know one another too. The images below are just a small collection of my favourites; I was lucky enough for this engagement shoot to be featured on Polka Dot Bride so more of their story and images can be found here. x
You might have already seen some of my favourite images from this wedding appear around on Facebook and on my site, it is safe to say it has been a favourite wedding of mine. Lani & Chris were married at Boulevard Gardens at Indooroopilly and the bright red vintage Chev provided the perfect getaway car to a nearby location for some bridal portraits after the ceremony. I adore the image of the newly married couple in the back of the car, big proud happy grins and I love the colour palette that the bridesmaids wore, simply beautiful.
You can’t go past a wedding with plenty of emotion and a great dance floor xx
