I wrapped up some editing for Project SPF

I did some scouting for some new locations

I shared Chelsea & Daniel’s wedding on the blog

Warren found himself a new spot, on my desk chair.

I was working on the wedding of Katie & Dan and was reminded how much I love images like these. So blessed for my job.

Here is a little iPhone peak of one of my shoots this week.

I received a beautiful thank you card from Natalie & Marcus in the mail.  I adore receiving letters in the mail and so does Warren.

They wrote me a beautiful testimonial as well:

“Kate is not just a lovely person, she is an amazing photographer! From our engagement shoot to the wedding day – we were blown away by the photos she took of us. We still cannot choose our favourite from the wedding day they are that good. Kate has a way of being the complete professional and you hardly notice she is there, but she also ensures all the images you want are captured and also gets so many that you didn’t know she was even taking. We have no hesitation in recommending Kate to any future bride & groom, and would love to use her for any family shoots we decide to do in the future. Thanks Kate, you captured our day so beautifully!”

Happy weekend xx

wedding of chelsea & daniel

I will keep my words short and sweet as my post is very image heavy – I just had too many favourites, here is a collection of them  xx

Chelsea & Daniel an engagement

I met Daniel and Chelsea two days before their wedding, at Glenelg Beach in South Australia for their engagement session.  After our shoot I remember Chelsea saying how she really enjoyed to time to disconnect from the ‘planning’ of the wedding and just to stop and enjoy this time together.

I can’t wait to share with you their wedding images…  xx

Wedding of Prue & Matt

I have started a fresh this week, with an active attempt to start my list of things that are awkwardly behind or fallen by the wayside, one of those is to get my blog up to date…….  I am so privileged to share in many precious moments, but now I need to make a concerted effort to share more with you.  Even now as I create these posts in retrospect I still feel the same joy in the images as when I was making them.

This is the wedding of Prue & Matt.  A combination of an industrial/urban look with a little bit of sunset greenery to finish it off.  We capture these images prior to the ceremony, so after the ceremony, Prue & Matt could get straight into celebrating with their friends.

I know there is a lot of different ways that a ceremony is conducted too, but I am going to say with confidence, having a yabbie appear from under the decking to land at the Bride’s feet probably doesn’t happen much…. unless of course you were at this wedding… You wouldn’t even have known though, if I didn’t tell you (..and have the photographs below).. Prue & Matt just laughed it off…

I hope you enjoy some of my favourites from their day. x
