Now you shall say a fews words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this is my husband, this is my wife…
A few words from the Bride.
What was your favourite moment or part of the day?
Oh wow this is a hard one.. there are so many to choose from.
I think I would have to say my favourite moment was having Dad walk me down the aisle & looking up to see my very soon to be husband’s face.
My not so favourite moment…. taking all the pins out of my hair at the end of the night!
Did you include any traditions in your wedding?
No traditions as such, but we wanted to incorporate the country into our city wedding as this is where Ash grew up & is special to both of us as it is where he also proposed. We named all of our tables after Stanthorpe & towns/places around it.
What was the best advice you received as a bride?
Try as much as you can to relax & really take in & enjoy everything that is going on around you.
What advice do you have for other brides?
Pick a good photographer!
The day really does go so fast & there is so much happening around you that it is easy to miss out on seeing people (their reactions & expressions) & the details around you. Having someone capture all of these moments means you don’t miss out & are able to look back & see the things you might have missed on the day.
This is the girl that stole Ash’s heart… Isn’t she breathtaking… x
