Alicia & Guy A Sheraton Marina Mirage Wedding

This is the lovely wedding of Alicia & Guy, at the Sherton Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast and the reception followed at Fellini’s Restaurant.  A fantastic day where guests had arrived from Sydney and Brisbane to witness their union.  While the day was a little rainy, it didn’t hinder some wonderful first look moments nor the smiles and laughter of our lovely couple. The speeches at Fellini’s restaurant was a testament to how much this couple is loved, and adored, and it is not hard to see why, spending only a few days in their company, it is easy to feel (what Alicia calls..) their ‘love space’.  It was also Guy’s grandmother’s birthday on their wedding day, and they honoured her by surprising her with her own birthday cake!  Alicia and Guy it was lovely to be apart of your wonderful day and I wish you nothing but happiness, laughter and joy for your years to come. x

A few words from our lovely Bride, Alicia:

What inspired you when you were planning your wedding?  So many things- beautiful dinners we’ve enjoyed with friends, favourite songs and our families.

What was your favourite moment or part of the day? First look, when Guy and I can be together and take a moment to reflect on all the fun ahead of us.

Did you include and traditions in your wedding? Yes, I included a pearl brooch that belonged to my dear Nanny Pyke on my bouquet.

What was the best advice you received as a bride? Take photos with every guest before you get to the reception.

What advice do you have for other brides? Surround yourself with the best professionals!
